Q. When can I play?
A. Because the courts are located within the grounds of Redland High School for Girls the courts can only be accessed outside of school times. That means during term time the courts can be accessed from 18:00 during weekdays and without restriction during weekends. Outside of school terms courts can be accessed without restriction. As long as there is sufficient light there is no restriction on evening play, however if you do use either of the floodlit courts (Courts 2 or 3) then the lights must be switched off by 21:00.
Q. How do I access the courts?
A. Once you have paid your membership fee you will receive a club key. The key will enable you to access the main gate and all the courts. Each court is also padlocked and the key will also allow you to access them as well. In the interest of security we do ask members to ensure that they close all padlocks before leaving the facility.
Q. How do I use the floodlights?
A. The floodlights are operated via a push button system. These are located in the in the corner of court 3 and attached to a small brick housing. To switch on the lights simply press the green button and to switch them off simply press the red button. The lights will often take a few minutes to warm up and reach full power.
Q. How do I book a court?
A. We run an online booking system so that you can book or check court availability any time. To be able to use this facility simply go to http://www.supersaas.com/schedule/RHGS_Tennis_Courts/Court_Bookings and register you details which include setting up a username and password.
